As an admin, go to the Team page and click '+ Invite Member'. Enter their name, email, role, and location. They'll receive an email invitation with a link to set their password and join your workspace.

Mattan has five access levels: Admin (full control), Location Admin (manages their assigned campus), Team Lead (can manage events and assignments), Member (can view schedules and accept assignments), and Viewer (read-only access).

When creating an event, choose 'Recurring' and set a pattern (weekly, fortnightly, etc.). Mattan generates individual events in the series. You can edit or delete a single event, all future events, or the entire series.

Admins assign members to roles (e.g. Sound Engineer, Camera Operator) on each event. The assigned member receives an email with Accept and Decline buttons. Admins and location admins are notified of the response.

Yes — members can add absence dates on their Profile page. When an admin tries to assign them during that period, they'll be blocked with an 'Away' indicator. Absences also show on the rota / schedule grid.

The runsheet is your order of service — a timeline showing what happens when during the event (e.g. '10:00 Welcome', '10:05 Worship', '10:25 Sermon'). You can build it manually, upload a PDF, or import from a document using AI.

Each role can have a pre-service, during-service, and post-service checklist. For example, a Sound Engineer might have 'Test all microphones' in their pre-service list. Members see their checklist on the dashboard and event page.

When a team member arrives at the venue, they can check in from the event page. Mattan uses their phone's GPS to verify they're within 200 metres (660 ft) of the venue. Admins can see who's on-site before the service starts.

It's a full-screen dashboard designed for a TV or monitor in your AV booth. It shows today's schedule, the running order (with a live 'now' indicator), role assignments, and the setup checklist — updating in real time.

Add your gear (cameras, mics, cables, etc.) with categories and serial numbers. Members can check out equipment and return it. You can also book equipment for specific events. Everything is tracked by location.

Yes — Mattan provides calendar subscription URLs for both your personal assignments and the full team rota or schedule. Add them to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and your schedule stays in sync.

Absolutely. You register one church and add multiple locations (campuses). Each location has its own team, rota, events, equipment, and messaging channels. Admins can oversee all locations from one dashboard.

After 30 days, you'll be asked to subscribe to continue using Mattan. Your data is kept safe — you can subscribe at any time to pick up where you left off.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription from the Settings page at any time. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

We use Stripe for payments, which supports all major credit and debit cards. Billing is handled securely through Stripe's payment portal.

No — Mattan is a web app that works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or phone. There's nothing to download or install.

Yes. Each church's data is completely isolated using row-level security in our database. Your church's data is only accessible to your church's members. All connections are encrypted with HTTPS.
